EVERY SATURDAY: Vesper Truth

This evening, I received a request from one of my leaders in The Rising Point for Christ—our Associate Discipleship Leader, Brother Justus Ainembabazi—asking me to lead the intercessory prayer for our Emmaus & Upper Room life group fellowship.

Immediately, a song of thanksgiving flowed from my lips: “Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus.”

What a privilege it is to serve the Lord in this way. I don’t know what assignment or moment of grace God gave you today, but as we prepare our hearts for the Lord’s Day, I am reminded of this simple, powerful truth: We always have a reason to give thanks.

In everything, for all things—through Christ Jesus—we give thanks. This is the will of God for you (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

So tonight, I invite you to declare with a grateful heart:

Thank You, Jesus.

May your heart be light with gratitude and your spirit rest in His peace. Wishing you a blessed and refreshing Sunday. May His name be exalted!
