From Burden to Glory in Christ | November 2025
To the beloved Family of God at Rising Point for Christ, friends and family,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus.
We have stepped into the month of November, our second-last month of the year. This is a sacred opportunity to draw near to God and surrender to Him our daily struggles with sin, the hardships that weigh on our hearts, and the pains that we often carry in silence. Even the Apostle Paul, a mighty man of God, was no stranger to this battle, writing openly about his thorn in the flesh and his inner conflict (2 Corinthians 12:7-9, Romans 7).
As believers, we all face seasons of struggle—whether with sin, disappointment, discouragement from loved ones, or the heartbreak of relationships. But in the midst of it all, remember this unchanging truth: God is with you. Troubles will come, but our God promises rescue and restoration.
Recently, I asked a brother to contribute a word of greeting for this month. He replied, “I am broken into pieces.” His raw honesty resonated deeply, because I, Silas too, am navigating my own valleys of pain and struggle. Yet, it is precisely in this place that the Lord has met me with a word for you: Rise. Rise, and rise again. The God who sustains you is with you in the battle you are facing right now.
Ministry Opportunity: Buhweju Mission
I am also excited to remind you of a vital kingdom opportunity: the Buhweju Evangelical & Discipleship Mission (BEDMission) from December 14th to 21st. You are a key part of this great work. Please join us in prayer, support, and presence as we go forth to proclaim the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our November Gatherings
Our regular weekly programs continue to be a source of strength and fellowship. I encourage you to prioritize gathering together. There is power in corporate worship and in calling on the name of Jesus as one body.
Our monthly Prayer and Fasting will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025. The theme is:
“From Burden to Glory: The Weight of His Transforming Victory”
—Esther 9:22 & 2 Corinthians 4:17
It will be our privilege to collectively lift our burdens to our glorious God, who has overcome the world. As we seek Him, we claim the truth that “greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
A Word to Declare in Faith
Finally, my brethren, let us declare the promise of Psalm 138:7 together:
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life. You stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes; with Your right hand You save me.”
Let us also approach His throne of grace with the confident prayer of Psalm 138:8:
“The Lord will vindicate me; Your love, Lord, endures forever— do not abandon the works of Your hands.”

Wishing you a blessed and purposeful new month. God loves you deeply, and so do I.
Walk in His strength this month. You are not alone.
In Christ’s Victory,
