A New Month of True Satisfaction in Christ | October 2025

Happy New Month, beloved brethren! As we step into October, we embrace a new month of true satisfaction in Christ Jesus. God's blessings overflow as we commence the final three months of the year 2025. It is a beautiful month, made even more so by the grace God has shown in my life. The 25th of October is my birthday, and I welcome you to join me in giving thanks to God for His faithfulness and mercy throughout my life.

💧 Anchored in “The Wellspring”

This year, my personal message and the theme for our Annual Prayer and Fasting with the Rising Point for Christ family are one and the same: “The Wellspring: Finding Satisfaction in Christ” from John 4:1-26.

This world often leaves us feeling lost and dissatisfied. I, Oriokot confess that around June, I fell into this trap. I was desperate for funds to visit my parents in August with my fiancée. A deep dissatisfaction with what I had grew in my heart, and I forgot God's promise never to leave or forsake me. In a moment of weakness, craving more, I turned to an online investment scheme—the very type of thing I had once condemned. To my dismay, I was scammed, losing money and being left in a state of greater need and deeper dissatisfaction.

In that low moment, I had to run back to my only true place of refuge. I looked to Jesus, and He gave me strength through the loss and a peace that surpassed all understanding. While my financial situation wasn't instantly resolved, I found a profound satisfaction in Christ that money could never buy. I walked in victory with Him, despite my circumstances.

If you find yourself in a similar situation of trouble, worry, or deep dissatisfaction, I welcome you to the only Wellspring. When you drink from His living water and worship Him in spirit and truth, you will find the satisfaction your soul craves and live a life full of joy .

With this in view, I warmly invite you to join me and the Rising Point for Christ family for our Three-Day Annual Prayer and Fasting (3rd - 5th, October). We will launch this time of seeking the Lord tomorrow, Thursday, from 11:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Let's walk through this month and the rest of our days on earth with Christ, our satisfying portion.

🗣️ Ask from the One Who Gives Living Water

I leave you with the words of Jesus to the Samaritan woman, which He also speaks to us today: “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” This living water is the gift of salvation and the Holy Spirit, which satisfies our deepest spiritual longings forever .

I welcome you to come to Him. Ask from the One who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ. He Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
